Some of our more recent projects and demos include:
  • QATS:  QCRI Advanced Transcription System, a state-of-the-art speech recognition system for Modern Standard Arabic, is now live on Aljazeera.net!  Select daily or archived videos and turn on the closed caption feature.

  • Hot Summer Cool Research - The Arabic Language Technologies team worked with undergraduate students during QCRI's summer internship program on a number of projects. 
  • Arabic e-book reader - an application that supports right-to-left script and other requiremements for the Arabic language.

  • Ethraa - an initiative to enrich the quality and quantity of digital Arabic content.  An editing tool has been developed to help translate content for Wikipedia.  Link to beta.
